2026/27 Open ID Sessions for U11-U19 Competitive Teams

This spring, Avalanche SC will be offering ID (Identification) sessions to help with the age group transition. These sessions allow Avalanche and outside players to train with the coaches and players from the age group they will join next season.

The goal of these sessions is to help coaches begin evaluating players as teams are formed for the upcoming year, while also giving players a chance to experience the training environment of the next age group.

During the session, players will participate in normal training activities and small-sided games so coaches can observe their development, decision making, and comfort level at the next level of play.

ID sessions are not formal tryouts. They are simply an opportunity for players to train, meet the coaching staff, and become familiar with the expectations of the next age group before the season begins.

These sessions are meant to be positive, low-pressure training opportunities that help make the transition between age groups smoother for players and families. These sessions are not mandatory but highly encouraged and registration is not required.
