About Avalanche Soccer Club

Avalanche Soccer Club (ASC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving youth soccer players in Wheat Ridge and the surrounding North and West Denver communities since 1988. Each season, Avalanche provides opportunities for approximately 280 players ages 8–18 to develop their skills, compete, and build lifelong friendships through the game of soccer.

As a community-based club, Avalanche offers programs for players of all ability levels—from those just beginning their soccer journey to those seeking a more advanced competitive experience. Our mission is to provide a positive, safe, and supportive environment where every player can grow both on and off the field.

At Avalanche Soccer Club, we believe that financial circumstances should never prevent a child from participating in the sport they love. Through our financial aid program and community partnerships, we award approximately $9,000 annually in scholarships and financial assistance to help ensure that every player has the opportunity to play, develop, and thrive regardless of their family's financial situation.

By investing in our players, we strengthen our community and create opportunities for young athletes to learn teamwork, leadership, confidence, and a lifelong passion for the game.

Donations
Every child deserves the opportunity to play soccer, regardless of financial circumstances. Donations made to Avalanche Soccer Club help provide financial assistance to players and families who may otherwise be unable to participate.

All donations received through our donation program are directed toward player financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Your support helps remove barriers to participation and allows more young athletes to experience the benefits of youth sports, including teamwork, confidence, leadership, and personal growth.

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, all donations to Avalanche Soccer Club are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donations are non-refundable.

Black and White Ball
Black and White Ball Avalanche Soccer Club's signature annual fundraising event held each October. This exciting charity soccer match features Avalanche coaches, staff, alumni, and friends competing for bragging rights while raising funds for a great cause.

Proceeds from the event support Avalanche's financial aid program. Coaches and teams compete throughout the fundraising campaign, and the coach who raises the most money earns year-long bragging rights and Black & White Ball glory.
